- Shoveling and lawn care provided by caretaker
- Parking lots are plowed in the winter (by Deerwood Housing)
- Woodland Apartments has a centralized gardening area for tenants to enjoy vegetable or flower gardening.
- Some units are equipped with walk-in showers.
A Lions Bus provides transportation to and from grocery shopping and medical appointments.
Crow Wing Country Transit bus and Medi-Van are also available for transportation.
